Beware of their booking mobile app - it is designed to fraud your money. They scammed me for £280.
I attempted to use their mobile app and was charged 4 (FOUR) times for 1 transaction. When I tried to make a booking, the app displayed a message 'the card payment hasn't gone through', so I retyped the card details, thinking I made a typo, the same message appeared, so I switched to my debit card. After having received a third message 'The card payment has been rejected' I moved on to my laptop. The payment on the laptop has gone through fine.
You can appreciate my surprise when, a week later, I discovered 4 transactions from Wizzair, 3 of which were for different amounts of money, and when I logged in to Wizzair, there were 4 bookings for the same name, same flight, same date and the same hour. So, according to Wizzair, I'm going clone myself 4 times,. Summarising, they owe me £280 for 3 of those transactions.
I emailed their customer service, but no response for 8 days and counting. They say if you have an urgent issue you can call them but... the calls cost only 77p per minute!! Nice way of making a few extra bob on top of what they've scammed out of me already.
So not only did they steal my money by abusing my consumer trust, but also want to charge me to speak to them!
I recorded it with my bank as a fraudulent activity and I will get a refund.
Our flight was rescheduled (one day later than booked) and we did not get any discount. We would have loved to just fly back one day later also - if there had been a flight that day. So we were robbed one day from our little weekend trip without any compensation. And calling their customer service seems to be very expensive. There are a few things more that I do not like with the page and the service but that would be too much. PS: I haven't even been really flying with them yet. So we will see how many more problems will appear. I am very disappointed until now.
I used the first time the website of this company in October and I thought it was very good, even the trip to Budapest was positive only sour note for the delay is that we have had more than one hour late for the start, but not I understand from what depended on it. To be a company of low class is not bad for a budget trip.
Easy lunch on the canniest, cheapest airline . . . what can you expect for such amazing fares . . .

I was satisfied even though there are hidden prices and so on... but you just have to look closer and be careful. I found it much better than ryanair (where I am sometimes afraid the plane will crash down).
I also think that the flight attendants are relly unfriendly but whatever... I travel everywhere for small money and can discover europe :)
Nu sjunker Wizzar ännu lägre och där går faktiskt min gräns för att flyga med dem. Finns andra bolag med bättre villkor och liknande priser. Att stå och bråka om handbagage för den är större än 25 cm är inget jag kan acceptera eller betala för. Idag fick jag mail med nedanstående text:
"Om handbagaget är större än (25 x 32 x42 cm).. måste du betala en avgift för att ta med det ombord." Låter som ett skämt .... Nu skall man räkna med ännu större förseningar och fler arga passagerar. Vad blir det nästa som ni skall lägga avgiften på ?
Using Wizz Exclusive Club I bought a ticket for a friend to join me on a previously booked reservation. Now that the ticket is payed for I discover that when using the club I can not put another person's name on the ticket unless it was bought at the same time as my own, even if we are flying on the same plane. So I have two tickets in my name. The fee for modification or cancellation is more than the price of the ticket and it's charged per flight, not per itinerary. I can not get my money back.
I am extremely disappointed with the operations and services of this airline. There is a fee for every form of payment except a Wizz card, there is a fee for airport check-in, a fee for text message updates, a pay-per-minute fee to call customer support, there is a fee for anything that can be imagined. The thing that bothers me the most is that the fees for any kind of modification or cancellation are usually more than the price of the tickets, and are charged per flight, not per itinerary.

Jag har flygit med dem en gång och det räckte mycket väl...Jag åkte fr Göteborg till Budapest.Utresan gick smidigt.Jag hade en vanlig kabinväska med mig som jag har rest med under 5 år.Det säljs som kabinväska och alla andra bolag har accepterat det i alla dessa år utan problem.Vid hemresan blev jag och många andra passagerare stoppade och personalen vid inchekningen ville tvinga oss att betala pengar för att skicka våra kabinväskor som bagage!!De mätte våra kabinväskor och enligt deras mått så var dem för stora!!Både jag och de andra passagerarna blev förbannade,vi fattade inte varför fick vi resa ut med våra kabinväskor men inte hem??Nja klart det är ett sätt för Wizzair att tjäna mera pengar ju!Vad ska man göra när man står där vid hemresan och är informerad om att kabinväskan som är accepterad hos alla andra bolag-är inte accepterad hos Wizzair...Man kan inget annat göra än att betala och bestämma sig att i fortsättningen reser man med ett seriöst bolag.Visst så skulle många göra kanske men inte jag:) jag gjorde ett stort hallo av detta så fick jag med mig alla andra passagerare,vi kallade dit deras flygplatschef så till slut efter 30 minuters oom och men fick vi alla åka med våra kabinväskor utan att betala.Tänk detta gällde 35 passagerare och vi skulle alla betala på platsen 500 kr var för att få skicka väskan som bagage....Wizzair?Nej tack för mig!
The flight was ok. But if your luggage doesn't fit their box (which don't have standard size), you have to pay an extra that can be more than 50$/luggage!
I have flown with Ryanair and EasyJet which is the only real low-price airlines. But Wizzair, has been the worst travel so far.
Never ones was the plane on time, mostly around 2 hours delay.
Inside the plane, looks okay, but there are NO leg space what so ever, people over 170 cm will have a really hard time sitting in the seats.
Customers service is also really putrid I had to write 10 times, before I got an answers.
Then there is the prices on the website, they are never the right price, there is ALWAYS a fee, which you cant get rit off, so they might as well put this price on top of the offered price.
I had a case of denied boarding. I missed Xmas with my family because of them. My luggage made as they didn't bother to offload. (security???). So I was stranded in London with nothing over Xmas after 14 hour flight from Asia. No auctioning seats, no customer care, neglecting security concerns. The follow up even worse. I had to argue over the compensation and reimbursing the cost.
They tricked me into re-booking instead of cancelling the original flight and booking a new one. Now they are refusing to reimburse the ticket cost difference pocketing the difference between top peak price and slack season. Apparently they have no obligation give impartial advice and CHEATING CUSTOMERS is an acceptable business practise.
Customer services is dreadful. I send 10 reminders to my last message but they just ignore. DISGUSTING.
I strongly recommend that you familiarise yourself with your rights.
ALWAYS demand full refund.
If you have a choice book with competitors.

Har fløjet Aarhus - Gdánsk med Wizzair 2 gange nu. Priserne er kanon og personalet venligt.
Første gang var flyet dog forsinket 5 timer!! - men de fulgte alle regler med hensyn til at uddele mad biletter. Køb XXL Legroom, det koster 5 euro pr. vej - det er møj billigt og behageligt, selvom flyvetiden fra Gdánsk - Aarhus kun var 40 minutter sidst.
Gdánsk lufthavn kan man fint benytte til omstigning til Ryanair til resten af Europa, såfremt man ønsker at rejse fra Aarhus.
En taxatur fra Gdánsk lufthavn til centrum koster ca. 90 PLN, altså cirka kr. 180,00. Hvis man har SAS Eurobonus kan man, hvis man lejer i god tid, leje en bil hos Hertz til ca. kr. 200,00 pr. dag. Så hvis man har et par dage i Gdánsk kan det måske svare sig at leje en bil.
Fløj med wissair fra Aarhus, kort kø ved sikkerhedschecket og undervejs var der rigeligt med personale i flyet.
Sikkerhedsprocedurene i kabinen blev fulgt til punkt og prikke og flyet landede rettidigt.
Airbus 320 fly med fine sæder og god plads (lang bedre end Ryanair).
Og priserne er også meget konkurrencedygtige.
I've found very good prices for flights within Europe mahy times, this is a reliable low cost company with new planes.
The best thing is that you can see all the fees before checking out.
i flow many times to poland with three children and everything went very smooth, staff very helpful and compare to other company wizzair for children from 3 yrs old they charge half price for the tickets compare to easyjet full price.
Unfortunately Wizz air is the only option to get to some destinations. To some you may find their tickets to be more expansive that BA flights. Their staff is mostly unhelpful and you will pay even for their mistakes. Be aware of all hidden charges as the booking policy is not clear for some airports.
This is probably the best airline I've ever flown with. The prices are rock bottom, the web interface is great, check-in and boarding is smooth and the in-flight crew are relaxed and friendly. A true standard for everyone to follow.
